This research seeks to identify how emotional and rational drivers of trust relate to inform judgements about the trustworthiness of planning systems.
Through an innovative mixed-methods approach, this project will gain insights into the cognitive processes that underpin trust judgements related to planning systems. The findings will be used to develop evidence-based recommendations for novel trust-building strategies.
This project is being undetaken as a PhD thesis, funded through an Ad Astra Fellowship held by Dr. Linda Fox-Rogers at University College Dublin.
